I went from being on top of the world; standing alongside George Michael and socializing with some of the most famous people in the world, to the absolute bottom.
The last 11 years have been very hard, I have lost everything material. But at the same time, I am quite blessed to have such an amazing wife and three wonderful boys. Two of my boys, James and
Harry, are victims of my split with Yog. They have never heard from their Godfather again. Yog once called my boys his own, but has now missed the last 11 years of their lives. It’s a great shame
and something that cannot be regained. James is now 17 and doesn’t know his godfather, even after seeing him almost everyday for the first 6 years of his life. My youngest son has never met
George.
I have done what ever it takes to provide for my
family. In all honesty, right now I am not too happy with what I do for a living, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you.
All of this will eventually make for a funny story in ROCK, as the end is not finished. I am not finished. I love life and hope to grow old and successful with my family at my side.
Things have started looking-up and with hard work, commitment, and some talent after 30 years in the music industry, I think you will be hearing more of me in the very near
future.

I love Yog, he will always be my brother. There has not been a single day in the last 11 years that I haven’t thought about him. We were together for 37 years, and we went through so much
together. I have reached out to him several times over the years, but have never heard back. My last letter to him is part of ROCK, you won’t believe it when you read it. Ultimately, I
still miss him.
As to what I want to tell his fans… George is one
of the greatest songwriters of our time. But since we parted ways, his public profile has been quite negative. The hope of him returning to the pop-giant he once was fades with each arrest. He
has surrounded himself with YES people, and that is never a good thing.
No one has ever walked out on him like I did. It
has greatly changed my life, but I don’t regret it. I had come to the point where enough was enough. I never thought it would turn into such a statement. I honestly expected things to be
patched-up within six months. Interestingly after eleven years, people in the music industry are now looking at my involvement from when George was a massive international pop-star, and where he
is now.
I for one want him back where he
belongs… a true musical legend of our time.

Both are projects which I designed and developed. I even went back to school to learn how to design and build my own sites. It was hard going back into a classroom environment, especially when
most of my peers were half my age and I had had such a brutal school experience as a kid. But I can now confidently say that I’m pretty handy with Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
iplacei.com is the result of
my years researching what new business model in the music industry would have a real chance of surviving. We live in a world where a new music web site go up every 5 minutes, and the majority
fail to make a profit for its artists. If Aegean.net had continued on the path that I originally had set it on, it
would have now been a major online music portal, pretty much what iTunes has become.
It is a fact that Aegean was the first to sell music online, and
that I was the first to embrace the idea of music sales and distribution via the Internet. At the time artists were giving away their music online and the major labels missed the opportunity to
take control and take advantage of the situation. Today, 12 years later, the music business as we know it is dying. Labels are no longer investing in their artists as they used to, and the
quality of music has gone down the drain. Even artists are losing money, so we end up paying for it via sky-high ticket prices.
With iplacei.com, I want to basically finish what I started at Aegean. Iplacei.com is a social-networking home for new songwriters and authors. The overall idea is to help empower new talent,
allowing it to thrive while earning income via music placement. I cannot change the Industry but I can help new artists discover new opportunities. Iplacei.com is an extension of what I have been
doing for the past 28 years.
